HSEdx (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an online Learning Management System (LMS) developed by the National Fire Safety Institute (NFSI). NFSI has market presence since 2012 and is owned by the Labour Employment & Environment Development Council (LEEDC).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect personal data when you visit our website, create an account, purchase courses/subscriptions, or use our learning services.
For the purposes of applicable Indian laws, HSEdx/NFSI acts as the Data Fiduciary (or equivalent role) for personal data processed through the platform.

Organisation name, designation, employee ID (if applicable)

Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or net banking credentials on our servers. We may receive limited transaction references and payment status from the gateway.
We use personal data for:
Creating and managing your account and access
Delivering courses, tracking progress, generating certificates (if applicable)
Processing payments, invoices, and subscription management
Customer support, troubleshooting, and service communication
Improving platform performance, analytics, and user experience
Preventing fraud, misuse, and maintaining security
Compliance with legal obligations and lawful requests by authorities
We process data based on one or more of the following:

We do not sell personal data to third parties.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for:
providing services,
maintaining legitimate business records, and
meeting legal/tax obligations.
When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it, unless retention is required by law.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, or loss. While we take strong precautions, no online system is 100% secure.

HSEdx is intended for professional/industrial learning. If we become aware that personal data of a child has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it as per applicable law.

access to your data,
correction of inaccurate data,
deletion/erasure (where legally permissible), and
grievance redressal.
